Its been way to LONG!

I honestly don't even know where to begin its been so long. School and work keeps us WAY to busy! I will just name a few exciting things that have happened in the past 8 or so months.

1. We got a new dog, he is a golden retriever-lab mix. SUPER cute, but he has a huge fascination with the flowers in the back yard--I think that we have had to replant them about 10 times in the last few weeks. I love taking him running, and thats about it!

2. I got to start clinical s this semester and absolutely LOVED it. I think that my favorite surgery that I did this semester was a total hip. I wont go into to much detail, but it was pretty awesome! I think that I am going to stick with orthopedics when I graduate.

3. Tyler ran his first half marathon back in Feb. he did very good, and actually wanted to do another one right after, but all the excitement has worn off, and I am no sure he will ever do anther one!

4. We celebrated are 4 year anniversary. We actually didnt really do anything cause I had clinicals all day and then I had to work that night.

5. We are going to Europe for the summer! We actually leave this Thursday. The countries that we are going to are England, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Athens, Turkey, France.

There are a lot more things that I am leaving out, but pretty much we are just working hard at school and work.

Summer

On the drive to Arizona

This summer has been a total blast... Bailey and Carly came down to Texas for two weeks to visit. We spent most of our time on the lake. They actually got really good at water skiing. At the end of July I drove with Amy, Alan, their boys, and Bay and Car to Arizona. We were only there for a few days, but it was so much fun. It was good to see family again. On the way back to Texas we stopped at White Sands, and Carlsbad Caverns. It took us about 2 hours to walk through the cave, and we didnt even see half of it. It was very impressive.

Tyler has done an amazing job on our house. It is up for sale now so we will see how it all goes. Its only been on the market for 3 days so no news yet.

Happy Birthday Baby AVA!

Ava turned one years old this week. She is getting so big and so cute. Tyler and I love spending time with her.

Not much is going on in our life. I just finish up school for the semester. We are super busy getting ready to put our house up for sale. Jon, Sandi, and I are training hard getting ready to do an IronMan towards the end of the year. The workouts are super hard, but amazing. Tyler joins us on the swimming since he is still recovering from his ankle injury. Hopefully it is better by the time of the IronMan. Life is busy, but GREAT!

Boston/New York Trip

We just got back from our trip out east. It was so much fun. Of course the best part for me was running in the Boston Marathon. It was the one of the best experiences of my life. The streets were COVERED with people for the whole 26.2 miles. They said there was well over 500,000 people there. Of course it was awesome to have friends and family with me there too. Tyler, his mom, his sister Lacey, Amy, my mom and dad, My best friend Kuuipo, and one of my sisters friends Harmony all were at the race to watch. We all got there by Thursday and were able to go to New York and see some pretty awesome sites. Then we went down to Boston and hung around there. We went and looked at some pretty awesome sites after the race.

Murder Mystery Dinner!

Jon, Sandi, Tyler and I hosted a murder mystery dinner. If you have never done one you should totally do it. The theme was Spice Girls backstage party. I was sporty spice, Sandi was Baby, Our friend Ashley was Posh, our Friend Shalisa was Ginger, Jon was our manager, and Tyler was the crazy fan. I didnt get any pictures of our friend Adam (he was the body guard) or Joey (he was David). All the guest came dressed in 80's. Anyway, it was so much fun if anyone wants to do one just let me know and I will help you get started.

NEW YEARS!

For New Years I went down to Houston with my 2 brothers and their wifes. Jon, Sandi, Julienna, and I ran in the Kingwood marathon. It was Sandi and Julienna's first marathon. I was able to qualify for the Boston marathon! I am now registered and ready to go. The race is on April 20th so if anyone wants to come... Tyler was so nice, and when I got home he had a HUGE poster for me hanging in the living room.
